During a recent visit to Penrhyn Castle and its railway museum I saw this rather unusual vehicle and decided it was a perfect prototype to model in 16mm.

It’s designed to spray weed killer on the track when the handle is pushed forward to tension the drive belt.

My model uses a home made oak chassis and 3mm ply planked bed, the axle boxes are IP Engineering and the wheel are Slaters.

The Pump and control bracket are 3D printed with the rest of the fittings and spray bar being made from bits of brass and copper wire.
